The Office of Overseas Schools (A/OS), U.S. Department of State, Washington, D.C., U.S.A., provides annual financial and other support for specific educational purposes since the early 1960s.
The U.S. consulate in Thessaloniki provides consultation on a wide array of topics related to operating as an American institution in Greece.
Pinewood has been accredited by the Middle States Association, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A., since 1985. Its most recent re-accreditation, wherein the school went through an evaluation of all areas of school operations, was granted in 2016 and is valid for seven years.
The International Baccalaureate Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, provides regular guidance and support for the school’s IB Diploma Program.
The Near East / South Asia Council of Overseas Schools (NE/SA), based in Athens, sponsors separate annual conferences for administrators and teachers throughout the NE/SA region along with other professional development opportunities for faculty.
Pinewood is also a Regular Member of the European Council of International Schools (ECIS).
